DRIVER DESIGN HOOD SHIELDS
The Driver Design Hood Shields are mounted at
least 1” away from the hood with patented bracket
system and breakaway nylon fastener system that
is capable of clearing extremely tight hood
tolerances and still keeping it away from the
surface of your hood, protecting it from debris, as
well as from contact with the hood shield. The
bracket system creates a drain system that
prevents the build-up of damaging moisture and
debris. The rubber washer isolation prevents
damage caused by contact between plastic and
steel. The high-impact acrylic is thicker and more
rigid than the competitor’s products. Acrylic won’t
flex against the hood and will not “yellow” or
become dull when exposed to the elements.
